GENERAL OVERSEER JCCI WORLDWIDE
To the glory of God Almighty, it is with great joy and heartfelt gratitude that I warmly welcome every one of you to this year’s “JCCI UNITED KINGDOM 2026 Regional Church Convention, themed “DIVINE ENCOUNTER.”
On behalf of our regional overseer, the leadership of the church, and the entire congregation, we are delighted to receive every minister, guest, visitor, and member who has gathered for this sacred occasion. We believe that your coming for this convention is not by chance but by God’s divine appointment.
Throughout Scripture, every genuine encounter with God brought about a remarkable transformation. Moses encountered God at the burning bush and became the deliverer of Israel. Isaiah encountered the holiness of God and was commissioned into prophetic ministry. Saul encountered the risen Christ on the road to Damascus and became Paul, the great apostle to the Gentiles. Jacob encountered God at Peniel, and his identity, destiny, and future were forever changed.
This convention is therefore more than a gathering; it is a divine appointment. We believe it is a season when heaven will visit earth and lives will be transformed by the power of God. During these days together, we expect:
Salvation for the lost.
Revival for the Church.
Healing for the sick.
Deliverance for the oppressed.
Restoration for broken lives.
Fresh anointing for ministry.
Divine direction for every destiny.
Supernatural breakthroughs and open doors.
A deeper revelation of God’s presence and purpose.
As we worship, pray, study God’s Word, and wait upon Him, may every barrier between you and your divine destiny be removed. May every long-standing prayer receive divine answers. May every spiritual dryness give way to fresh fire, and may every participant experience a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to participate wholeheartedly in every session. Come with faith, expectancy, and an open heart, for God always rewards those who diligently seek Him. We are confident that no one who comes seeking the Lord will leave the same way they came.
As we officially declare this convention open, may the Lord manifest His glory among us. May signs, wonders, miracles, and the convicting power of the Holy Spirit accompany every service. Above all, may each of us have a life-changing Divine Encounter that will redefine our future and bring lasting glory to God.

May the Lord bless you richly, and may this convention become a landmark experience in your spiritual journey.

In The Name Of The Lord Jesus Christ – OUR JUBILEE And On behalf of the General Overseer Rev Dr Adekunle Adesina And His Wife, Rev Dr Felicia Adesina; JCCI UK-EUROPE Pastoral Council Members, all Pastors, and the entire Convention Planning Team, I welcome you to 2026 Convention.
Welcome to JCCI Faith Arena In North London.
Welcome to your Bethel Moment.
Look at your neighbours in your left/right sides and say: “You didn’t come by accident. You came for an encounter.”
Our theme this year is not a slogan. It is a scripture. It is a summons.
Genesis 28:13–22 – “Surely the Lord is in this place… This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
Jacob was running. He was tired. He had a stone for a pillow. But one night with God changed his name, his direction, and his destiny.
JCCI Family! I prophesy: This convention will be your Bethel.
WHY ARE WE HERE?
Brothers and Sisters let’s be honest – the outgoing year(s) might not have been that easy. Some of us came in with business that looked like it has failed; Marriages under pressure, Visa delays. Health battles. “Fatherless” seasons where heaven felt silent.
For some of us, probably the enemy wanted us to skip this year. To say, “I’m too tired for church. I’m too broke for convention.”
But you’re here. That means something is still alive in you. That’s hunger. And hunger attracts heaven.
Jacob didn’t plan an encounter. He planned escape. But God met him in the escape route. So if you came in running from something… if you came in broken, confused, carrying a stone… God says, “I see you. And I’m about to turn this place into the gate of heaven for you.” Genesis 28:17
JCCI UK/Europe Convention Delegates, you are not here for just singing, dancing, and nice clothes. You are here because God wants to arrest you like He arrested Jacob.
WHAT DIVINE ENCOUNTER DOES
From Genesis 28, I see 4 things that happen when God shows up:
1. DIVINE ENCOUNTER CHANGES YOUR VISION – v12–13
Jacob saw a ladder. Heaven opened. Angels going up and down.
Highly Esteemed/Honoured Delegates, some of you have been seeing only problems. Only bills. Only closed doors. But this week, God will open your eyes. You will see angels. You will see open heavens over your family, your career, your ministry. You will see that you are not alone.
2. A DIVINE ENCOUNTER CHANGES YOUR IDENTITY – v14
God said, “Your offspring shall be like the dust… and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Listen carefully: Before you leave this convention, God will reintroduce you to yourself. The name they called you at work – “failure”, “late”, “asylum seeker” – God will cancel it. He will call you “Blessed. Chosen. Builder of Nations.”
As you know, JCCI is a global family. And God said you will be a blessing to nations. UK, Europe, Africa, everywhere. Your children will be mighty – In The Name Of The Lord Jesus Christ.
3. A DIVINE ENCOUNTER CHANGES YOUR LOCATION – v15, 22
God said, “I am with you and I will keep you wherever you go.” Then Jacob called the place Bethel – House of God.
Some of us came here in a wilderness season. Emotionally dry. Spiritually deserted. But I declare: This auditorium becomes Bethel for you. Your house becomes Bethel. Your workplace becomes Bethel. Because God is moving with you.
4. A DIVINE ENCOUNTER CHANGES YOUR VOW – v20–22
Jacob said, “Of all that You give me I will give a tenth to You.”
Encounter produces surrender. When God touches you, you stop negotiating and start vowing. “Lord, if You do it, I will serve You. I will tithe. I will build Your house.”
JCCI, I believe we will leave this place with new vows. New commitment. New fire.
